Arunachal CM Vows Rs 7,834 Crore Rebuild After Floods, Landslides

A big storm caused floods and landslides in a part of India called Arunachal Pradesh.

Many places were damaged, and some people sadly lost their lives.

Other nearby states, Assam and Nagaland, were also affected.

The leader of Arunachal Pradesh is a man named Pema Khandu.

On India's 80th Independence Day, he promised to make the state better than before.

He announced a big amount of money, 7,834 crore rupees, to spend from 2026 to 2029.

The money will be used to build stronger roads and better connections to villages.

He thanked the helpers, like rescue teams, doctors, and volunteers, who worked hard during the disaster.

He also told people to be careful with information on the internet and not to share fake news.

He said technology should help us, not trick us.
