Thane-Belapur Road to Close Four Nights for Flyover Work
Part of Thane-Belapur Road will be closed at night on four dates in October.
The closure is from 11 p.m.
until 6 a.m.
Crews will use that time to put large bridge supports in place for the Airoli-Katai Naka flyover.
The work is happening near Bharat Bijlee and Siemens in Airoli.
Drivers will need to follow detours set by the traffic department.
Different vehicle types and travel directions have different routes.
Parking on the affected road will also be banned during those hours.
MMRDA vehicles working on the flyover are exempt.
Thane-Belapur Road will close from 11 p.m. to 6 a.m. on the night of October 4 and October 9–11, 2026.
The closures will allow MMRDA to install girders near Bharat Bijlee and Siemens in Airoli.
Six-wheelers and larger vehicles travelling from Thane to Belapur will be diverted via internal MIDC roads from Mukund Company in Digha.
Other diversions include routes via Bharat Bijlee Chowk, Airoli Fire Brigade Chowk, Khedekar Chowk, Rabale Naka and Diva Gaon Circle.
Parking will be prohibited on the affected stretch during closure hours, except for MMRDA work vehicles.
