Navi Mumbai traffic police are changing traffic routes during Ganesh idol immersions.

Large processions are expected to use roads in several parts of the city.

Some roads will be closed, while others will have one-way or entry restrictions.

Drivers will be sent along different roads to reduce traffic jams.

The rules apply on several immersion days between September 18 and September 25.

Panvel will have an additional restriction on September 30.

Some roads will be reserved for vehicles carrying Ganesh idols and processions.

Police, government and essential-service vehicles do not have to follow these restrictions.

Drivers are being asked to follow signs and instructions from traffic officers.
