Navi Mumbai Announces Traffic Diversions For Anant Chaturdashi Processions
Navi Mumbai will change traffic routes on Friday, September 25.
The changes are being made because many Ganesh idols will be taken for immersion during Anant Chaturdashi.
Restrictions start at 10 am and will last until the processions finish.
In Kharghar, two important road stretches will be closed in both directions.

In Kalamboli, processions will follow two designated routes to Mhasar Lake.

Traffic restrictions in Navi Mumbai will begin at 10 am on September 25 and continue until immersion processions end.
In Kharghar, roads between D-Mart Signal and DAV International School, and between Kharghar Gaon Metro Station and Kamdhenu Complex, will close.
Kharghar motorists will be diverted through Sector 18, Sector 19, Vastuvihar Chowk, Balaji Sweets, Shilp Chowk and Daily Bazaar Chowk.
In Kalamboli, processions will use designated routes to Mhasar Lake through several sector roads and junctions.
Police have exempted designated immersion vehicles, police and government vehicles, and essential-service vehicles from applicable restrictions.
