Ulwe–Nhava Road Closed One Year for MTHL, Coastal Road
A road between Shivajinagar and Nhava in Ulwe is being closed for about one year.
The closure starts at 12:01 a.m.
on September 29.
It will continue until midnight on September 30, 2027.
Workers need the road closed to build a ramp for the Mumbai Trans Harbour Link.
They are also working on the Ulwe Coastal Road.
Cars and other vehicles cannot use the direct road during this period.
Drivers going to Nhava must use Delta Chowk, Ulwe Temple Road and Nhava Road instead.
Traffic officials say the change is meant to keep vehicles moving safely during construction.
The direct Shivajinagar–Nhava road in Ulwe will close to all vehicles from September 29 until September 30, 2027.
The closure will support construction of the Mumbai Trans Harbour Link ramp and Ulwe Coastal Road at Shivajinagar Interchange.
Motorists heading toward Nhava must use Delta Chowk, Ulwe Temple Road and Nhava Road as the alternative route.
The restriction begins at 12:01 a.m. on September 29 and ends at midnight on September 30, 2027.
Navi Mumbai Traffic Police issued the order under Sections 115, 116(1), 116(4) and 117 of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988.
