Good Samaritan Returns Tirumala Family’s Valuables Worth Lakhs
A family went to Tirumala for a wedding.
While travelling in jeeps, a bag accidentally fell from one of their vehicles near Alipiri.
The bag contained gold, money and important property papers.
A person riding a motorcycle found it.
Instead of keeping it, the person gave it to a Home Guard.
The family reported the missing bag to the police.
Officials checked the family’s description against the bag’s contents.
After confirming everything matched, they returned the bag to the family.
The gold and documents were reported to be worth about Rs.20 lakh, along with cash.
An unidentified motorcyclist found a bag near the Alipiri ghat road and handed it to Home Guard Reddappa Rao.
The bag belonged to a family whose members had travelled to Tirumala for Lakshmi Narayana and Shailaja’s wedding.
It contained 61 grams of gold ornaments, Rs.2,02,840 in cash and property documents.
The family reported the loss at the Tirumala Police Command Control Centre and provided details for verification.
Officials matched the details with the bag’s contents and returned the valuables to the family in the presence of TTD AVSO Krishnaiah.
