300 Grams Of Gold Jewellery Stolen From Bengaluru–Vijayawada Bus
A couple were travelling by bus to Vijayawada for a wedding.
They had about 300 grams of gold jewellery in a bag.
The jewellery was reportedly worth Rs 40 lakh.
They noticed the bag was missing when the bus stopped near Nellore.
Police searched the bus and passengers’ bags.
The empty bag was later found on a rear seat.
A passenger told police about another traveller who got off during the night.
Police transferred the case to the station responsible for the area where the theft was discovered.
