Telangana Governor Greets People on 80th Independence Day
India has a very special birthday every year called Independence Day.
It happens on the 15th of August.
This year will be the 80th Independence Day.
The Governor of Telangana, Shiv Pratap Shukla, sent warm greetings to everyone in his state and to the whole country.
He asked people to remember the brave freedom fighters who worked hard to make India free.
He said we are free today because of their courage and sacrifices.
He wants everyone to work together to make India strong and self-reliant.
He asked young people, women, farmers, workers and students to help the country grow.
He also hopes the Indian flag will always fly high with pride.
Telangana Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla extended warm greetings to the people of Telangana and the nation on the 80th Independence Day on August 15.
He urged citizens to remember with gratitude the sacrifices of the freedom fighters who fought for the country's independence.
Shukla called for collective efforts to build a stronger and self-reliant Atmanirbhar Bharat.
He emphasised inclusive development, peace, fraternity and ensuring benefits of development reach all sections of society.
He called upon youth, women, farmers, workers and students to play an active role in building a prosperous and progressive India, or Viksit Bharat.
