Telangana celebrates 80th Independence Day with patriotic fervour
India celebrated its 80th Independence Day.
This special day reminds everyone when India became a free country.
In the state of Telangana, people celebrated in six districts.
Important leaders went to each district and raised the Indian flag, called the Tricolour.
Students sang patriotic songs and performed dances.
They showed everyone how much they love their country.

The 80th Independence Day was celebrated on Saturday with fervour across six Telangana districts: Hanamkonda, Warangal, Mulugu, Jangaon, Mahabubabad and Jayashankar Bhupalapalli.
Ministers Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy, Konda Surekha and Danasari Anasuya Seethakka unfurled the National Flag at the district headquarters of Hanamkonda, Warangal and Mulugu respectively.
Government whips Beerla Ilaiah, Dr Jatothu Ramchander Naik and Ennam Srinivas Reddy participated in the celebrations in Jangaon, Mahabubabad and Jayashankar Bhupalapalli.
Students presented cultural performances highlighting patriotism and national unity, while government departments showcased tableaux and welfare programmes.
Ministers highlighted welfare schemes, including the Indiramma housing scheme, and projects such as the Kakatiya Mega Textile Park, Warangal airport, modern bus station and Inner Ring Road.
