Pune Metro Line 3 Receives Safety Clearance, Phase Nears Launch

People in Pune have to drive a lot, and it can be slow.

A new train line, called Metro Line 3, is almost ready.

The first part of the line, from Maan to a museum, has passed safety checks.

The whole line will have 23 stops and will help people travel faster in busy areas like Hinjawadi and Baner.

The project costs about 8,313 crore rupees and is built with help from private companies.

Soon, trains will start running and people can buy tickets with cards, UPI, cash, or a special card that works on all Pune metros.

A mobile app will let people book tickets for all three metro lines in one place.

The line should make commuting easier and reduce traffic jams.
