Erstwhile Nalgonda Comes Alive with Patriotic Spirit on Independence Day
On Saturday, people in three districts celebrated Independence Day with patriotic spirit.
The districts were Nalgonda, Suryapet, and Yadadri-Bhongir.
Important leaders came to each district and raised the national flag.
Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy unfurled the flag in Nalgonda.
Minister N Uttam Kumar Reddy hoisted the Tricolour in Suryapet.
Legislative Council Chairman Gutta Sukhender Reddy unfurled the flag in Yadadri-Bhongir.
Freedom fighters were honoured for their sacrifices during the celebrations.
Children performed patriotic dances and cultural programmes that everyone enjoyed.
The government also gave eligible people new assets and ration cards.
Police made security arrangements so the celebrations passed peacefully.
