Sana Satish Seeks Vande Bharat Halt at Tuni Railway Station

Rajya Sabha member Sana Satish Babu urged Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw to provide a commercial halt for the Vande Bharat Express at Tuni railway station.
The Visakhapatnam–Secunderabad Vande Bharat Express (Train Nos. 20833/20834) currently runs non-stop for nearly 151 km between Visakhapatnam and Samalkot.
Satish Babu submitted the representation to the Railway Minister in New Delhi on Friday, citing a long-pending public demand from North Coastal Andhra Pradesh.
He argued that a two-minute halt at Tuni would bridge the gap with only a negligible impact on the train's overall journey time.
Tuni serves a large catchment area including Payakaraopeta, Kotananduru, Prathipadu, Rowthulapudi, Yeleswaram and the entire Narsipatnam subdivision, with heavy daily passenger traffic.
