Intercity Superfast Express to Halt at Piduguralla from September 4
A train between Lingampalli and Vijayawada will begin stopping at Piduguralla.
The new stop starts on September 4.
People call this train the Employees’ Train.
Train 12796 arrives in Piduguralla in the morning and continues to Vijayawada.
Train 12795 arrives in the evening while traveling toward Lingampalli.
The train stays at the station for about one minute each time.
Local employees and other passengers had found it difficult to travel without this stop.
MP Krishnadevarayalu thanked railway officials for approving the change.
South Central Railway approved a Piduguralla stop for the Intercity Superfast Express from September 4.
The train, also called the Employees’ Train, operates between Lingampalli and Vijayawada.
Train 12796 reaches Piduguralla at 8:06 am and leaves at 8:07 am toward Vijayawada.
Train 12795 reaches Piduguralla at 7:08 pm and leaves at 7:09 pm toward Lingampalli.
Narasaraopet MP Krishnadevarayalu said the stop would help hundreds of daily commuters.
