Madhya Pradesh CM Mohan Yadav Suspends Officials Over Unpaid Childbirth Aid

A leader of a state in India called Madhya Pradesh is Mohan Yadav.

He started a special program called the Jan Vishwas Abhiyan.

During this program, he visited a town called Chhindwara.

A woman named Sita Tumram told him the government did not give her money to help with her new baby.

Another woman named Meena Banjara said she did not get money from a farming program called Kisan Samman Nidhi.

The leader was not happy, so he temporarily removed some government workers from their jobs.

He told other workers to give the women the money they needed.

He also punished a few more workers for not sharing other government money.

He said officials should solve people's problems with care and that carelessness in welfare work will not be tolerated.
