3 officials suspended after citizen complaints reach Madhya Pradesh CM Mohan Yadav’s ear · indianexpress.com

A state in India is like a big area with its own leader, called the Chief Minister.

The Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh is Dr Mohan Yadav.

He went to a town called Chhindwara to start a special campaign called Jan Vishwas Abhiyan, which means Public Trust Campaign.

While he was there, he sat down and listened to ordinary people tell him their problems.

Some people complained that government workers were not doing their jobs properly.

One woman said she had not received money from a government scheme that helps farmers.

The Chief Minister punished the workers who were complained about.

Three of them were suspended, which means they cannot come to work for a while.

Other workers got smaller punishments, like having a pay raise delayed.

The message is that government workers must be honest and helpful to everyone.
