MP CM Mohan Yadav suspends officials after complaints in Chhindwara
A state in India is like a big area with its own leader, called the Chief Minister.
The Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh is Dr Mohan Yadav.
He went to a town called Chhindwara to start a special campaign called Jan Vishwas Abhiyan, which means Public Trust Campaign.
While he was there, he sat down and listened to ordinary people tell him their problems.
Some people complained that government workers were not doing their jobs properly.
One woman said she had not received money from a government scheme that helps farmers.
The Chief Minister punished the workers who were complained about.
Three of them were suspended, which means they cannot come to work for a while.
Other workers got smaller punishments, like having a pay raise delayed.
The message is that government workers must be honest and helpful to everyone.
Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav suspended the acting Chief Medical and Health Officer (CMHO) Dr Naresh Gunnade, a Tehsildar and a Patwari in Chhindwara district on Friday.
The action came after the CM interacted with citizens at the Chhindwara Collectorate while launching the Jan Vishwas Abhiyan (Public Trust Campaign).
The acting CMHO of Chhindwara was suspended following complaints of irregularities.
The Tehsildar and Patwari of Parasia Tehsil were suspended after complaints that a woman beneficiary had not received PM Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme benefits.
The CM also ordered one increment withheld each from a Janpad Panchayat Chief Executive Officer and a Labour Officer, and show-cause notices for an SDM, Tehsildar and Patwari of the Chourai area.
