Six Passengers Rescued After Churchgate Metro Lift Fault
Six people got stuck inside a glass lift at a Mumbai metro station.
The lift stopped between two floors because of a technical problem.
This happened at about 1:45 pm on Tuesday.
The metro administration noticed the passengers inside the transparent lift.
Workers helped all six people get out within five minutes.
Nobody was hurt.
A photograph of the passengers inside the lift was later shared.
The lift was fixed and began working normally again.
Six passengers were briefly trapped in Lift No. 5 at Churchgate Metro Station on Tuesday afternoon.
The lift stopped between two floors at around 1:45 pm because of a technical snag.
The Mumbai Metro Rail Corporation said all six passengers were rescued within five minutes.
A photograph showed the passengers inside the transparent glass lift while it was stuck.
No injuries were reported, and the lift was restored and functioning normally afterward.
