Nashik Digitises 79.82% SIR Voter Applications; 10.3 Lakh Pending
Nashik is checking its voter list through a programme called the Special Intensive Revision.
Officials have digitised forms for about 4.07 million voters.
This covers nearly 80 out of every 100 voters in the district.
Forms for about 1.03 million voters could not be collected yet.
Some people were absent, had moved, had died, or appeared more than once on the list.
All forms were distributed across the district’s 15 Assembly constituencies.
Dindori completed the largest share of digitisation, at 90.97%.
Nashik West had the largest share of uncollectable forms, at 39.28%, and officials are reviewing the remaining work.
Nashik district digitised applications for 4,074,214 of its 5,104,458 voters under the Special Intensive Revision.
Applications for 1,030,244 voters, or 20.18% of the electorate, remain uncollectable.
Enumeration Forms were distributed completely across all 15 Assembly constituencies.
Dindori recorded the highest digitisation rate at 90.97%, followed by Igatpuri at 90.71%.
Nashik West had the highest uncollectable rate at 39.28%, while Dindori had the lowest at 9.03%.
