Mahalaxmi Emerges As Mumbai’s Luxury Realty Hotspot As Property Sales Surge 6X, Average Flat Price Hits ₹27.3 Crore · freepressjournal.in

Mahalaxmi is a neighbourhood in Mumbai, a big city in India.

It used to be known for horse races, old factories, and textile mills.

Now, it is becoming a place where very rich people buy fancy homes.

More than six times more money was spent on homes there in the last few years.

The average price of one flat is now about 27 crore rupees, which is an enormous amount of money.

The homes are expensive because new roads, bridges, and a metro line make it easier to travel around the city.

One new tower, called Altitude at 7 Mahalaxmi, is about 306 metres tall and is among India's tallest residential buildings.

But not every home has been sold yet, and many flats are still waiting for buyers.

So while the market is very hot, there are also lots of unsold homes building up.
