Delhi Reports Over 2,300 H1N1 Cases, Triggers Emergency Review
Delhi has reported about 3,000 influenza cases this year.
More than 2,300 of these cases were caused by H1N1, also called swine flu.
Health officials met to check whether the city was ready to handle the infections.
They also reviewed preparations for diseases spread by insects and other living carriers.
Health Minister Pankaj Kumar Singh said there were enough doctors, staff and medicines.

He said H1N1 made up about 97% to 98% of Influenza A cases, while some Influenza B cases were also found.
