Delhi Reviews H1N1 Preparedness as Influenza Cases Rise
Delhi officials are meeting because more people are getting influenza, including H1N1, which is also called swine flu.

Delhi Health Minister Dr Pankaj Singh called a high-level meeting on H1N1 and vector-borne disease preparedness.
The meeting is scheduled for 2 p.m. at the Delhi Secretariat with senior Health Department officials.
Officials will review hospital preparedness, surveillance and measures against swine flu, dengue, malaria and chikungunya.
Delhi recorded 114 fresh H1N1 cases among 159 new influenza cases on August 20.
The 2026 totals reached 1,777 H1N1 cases and 2,602 influenza cases, including Influenza A and B.
