The council produced around 13,000 kilograms of compost over the past year at a decentralised facility in Chanakyapuri.
The initiative is intended to reduce waste disposal and transportation-related emissions through local processing.
NDMC also honoured 15 artists who created murals at five locations in and around Connaught Place.
The murals covered about 4,200 square feet and featured themes of heritage, culture and Viksit Bharat @2047.
