NDMC Gives Retirement Benefits, Prepares New Delhi for BRICS
The New Delhi civic agency gave retirement benefits to 47 employees.
Manoj Kumar Dwivedi handed them their pension and other payment documents.
He wished them good health and active lives after retirement.
NDMC is also getting New Delhi ready for a BRICS meeting next month.
It says the city should be clean, green and welcoming for visitors.

NDMC Chairperson Manoj Kumar Dwivedi distributed gratuity, leave-encashment and pension payment orders to 47 retiring employees.
The cheques and orders were handed over Monday at the Convention Centre on Jai Singh Road.
NDMC said it is preparing civic services, cleanliness, green spaces and infrastructure for next month’s BRICS Summit.
The civic agency launched a programme distributing organic compost made from wet and green waste.
Three truckloads of compost were sent to the Horticulture Department under NDMC’s “Waste to Wealth” initiative.
