Goa-Tamil Nadu Railway Push: Special Train Schedules
During the Velankanni Feast, many people travel from Goa to Tamil Nadu.
The South Western Railway added special trains to help them.
One train, number 07361, leaves Vasco Da Gama at 9:55 PM on August 27 and arrives at Velankanni at 3:45 AM.
Another train, number 07362, runs on August 29, leaving Velankanni at 11:35 PM and reaching Vasco Da Gama at 3:00 AM.
A one‑time train, numbers 07365 and 07366, runs on September 6 and 9.
These trains stop at many big stations like Madgaon, Bengaluru, Salem, and Nagapattinam.
The special trains make it easier for devotees to travel during the festival.
Passengers should note that the 07361/07362 trains stop at Chikjajur, but the 07365/07366 trains do not.
South Western Railway has introduced special express trains between Vasco Da Gama and Velankanni for the Velankanni Feast.
Train No. 07361 runs on Aug 27 and Sep 1, departing 9:55 PM from Vasco Da Gama and arriving 3:45 AM at Velankanni.
Train No. 07362 operates on Aug 29 and Sep 3, leaving Velankanni 11:35 PM and reaching Vasco Da Gama 3:00 AM.
An additional one‑time service (Train Nos. 07365/07366) runs on Sep 6–9, with departures at 9:55 PM and 1:00 AM respectively.
The special trains stop at major stations including Madgaon, Sanvordem, Curchorem, Londa, Dharwad, Bengaluru, Salem, Karur, Tiruchchirappalli, and Nagapattinam.
