Maharashtra identified 1,22,24,007 voters for notices under the Special Intensive Revision as of August 31.
The total includes 62,48,281 unmatched electoral records and 59,75,726 records with detected anomalies.
Mumbai Suburban recorded the highest number of notices, covering 16,39,628 voters.
Mumbai city had 4,58,545 voters identified, including 3.17 lakh unmatched records and 1.41 lakh records with anomalies.
The Election Commission said notices will enable voters to respond during hearings about discrepancies.
