Bus narrowly escapes landslide as 114 Himachal roads close
A place in India called Himachal Pradesh is having very stormy weather.
Heavy rain made rocks and dirt slide down the mountains, which is called a landslide.
One landslide almost hit a bus full of people, but the bus got away just in time and nobody was hurt.
The rain also closed 114 roads, so people could not drive on them.
Many homes lost their water supply and electricity too.
This rainy season has been going on since the end of June.
Sadly, 78 people have died in rain-related accidents across the state.
On Tuesday, a rock fell onto a moving vehicle on the same stretch, killing one person and injuring two others.
The weather experts expect more wet weather until August 20.
They have also told people in some districts to be extra careful because of heavy rain alerts.
An HRTC bus narrowly escaped a landslide on Friday near the Bilaspur-Solan border between Bhararighat and Nalag areas, with no casualties reported.
A total of 114 roads were closed across Himachal Pradesh due to torrential rains, the most blocked in Mandi (39) and Kullu (33).
The rains disrupted 250 water supply schemes and 10 power transformers across the state.
Dharamshala recorded the highest rainfall at 92.1 mm since Thursday evening, followed by Naina Devi at 44.6 mm.
Since the monsoon onset on June 30, 78 people have died in rain-related incidents, and the state has suffered losses amounting to Rs 955 crore.
