Sometimes in the summer, very heavy rain falls for many days, and this is called the monsoon.

When roads are blocked, people cannot travel easily to get food or help.

The weather experts told people in several districts to be careful.

They said there could be very heavy rain on Monday and Tuesday.

Some towns, like Dharamshala, got a lot of rain.

The rain also stopped water and electricity from working in many areas.

In one place, a tree fell on a building, but luckily the families inside were safe.

Since the rainy season started, sadly 79 people have died in rain-related accidents.

The heavy rain also caused a lot of damage, costing the state almost a thousand crore rupees.
