The slip happened near Bridge Number 57 between Koti and Ghumman stations.

It damaged the track area and left part of a connecting bridge exposed.

Trains could not continue normally through that section.

Railway officials stopped four incoming trains at nearby stations as a safety measure.

They used buses and smaller vehicles to move passengers and crew.

Northern Railway said 391 passengers and 40 crew members were evacuated.

About 120 passengers later traveled on a specially rescheduled train.
