NIT Warangal Celebrates 80th Independence Day with Patriotic Fervour
India has a very special day called Independence Day, when the country celebrates becoming free.
This year, a big school called NIT Warangal held a big celebration for the 80th time.
The leader of the school, Professor Bidyadhar Subudhi, raised the Indian flag high.
Then everyone sang the national anthem together.
Some students from the NCC group walked in a neat parade to show their discipline and strength.
There were fun shows like singing patriotic songs, dancing, and acting out short plays.
Some teachers and students received awards for doing great work and winning competitions.
The school also opened a new security watching room to help keep everyone safe.
To finish the day, everyone planted a tree to help the environment.
It was a joyful day full of honour, fun, and love for the country.
NIT Warangal marked the 80th Independence Day with the national flag unfurled by Director Prof. Bidyadhar Subudhi, followed by the national anthem.
NCC cadets and security personnel presented a march-past and parade at the campus ceremony.
Cultural events at the Ambedkar Learning Centre included patriotic songs, poetry recitations, short plays, dance performances and a ramp walk.
Distinguished teachers and staff were honoured, and winners of quiz, painting, cross-country, essay-writing and debate contests were felicitated.
A Security and Surveillance Control Room at the Post Office was inaugurated, and a tree-planting ceremony at Gandhi Hall concluded the celebrations.
