NTR district ready for 80th Independence Day celebrations
The people of NTR district in India are getting ready to celebrate Independence Day.
Independence Day is a special holiday when India remembers becoming a free country.
This year, the district is celebrating its 80th Independence Day.
The celebration will take place at the big MBP Municipal Corporation Stadium in Ajith Singh Nagar, Vijayawada.
A minister named Nara Lokesh will come and hoist the national flag.
He will also give a speech to everyone at the gathering.
There will be a police parade and police officers performing bike stunts.
Students from Siddhartha Mahila Kalasala will play drums.

Elaborate security arrangements have been made to prevent untoward incidents during the celebrations.
