Separate Andhra Pradesh NCC Directorate Expected Within Three Months
Andhra Pradesh may soon get its own NCC office.
The new office is expected to be created within three months.
It may first work from Guntur.
Later, it could move to Amaravati when suitable buildings and facilities are ready.
The existing NCC office serving Andhra Pradesh and Telangana is being divided.
State Education Minister Nara Lokesh has promised support for the plan.
Officials have also proposed a training academy and special training areas in the state.
NCC activities help students learn discipline, leadership, confidence and service.
Cadets also learn about drones, cyber training and adventure activities.
