Trains carry lots of important things like food and fuel to different parts of India.

A railway group called Northeast Frontier Railway works in the northeastern part of the country.

In July 2026, they unloaded 1,052 big freight trains full of goods.

Most of those trains, 596 of them, stopped in the state of Assam.

Other freight trains went to places like Tripura, Nagaland, Manipur and Meghalaya.

Some trains also went to West Bengal, which received 200 rakes.

Bihar received 143 rakes of goods.

The trains carried things people need every day, like food grains, sugar, salt and fertilizers.

This helps make sure shops and markets have enough supplies.

The railway says careful monitoring helped make unloading faster and smoother.
