The Election Commission is checking and updating Jharkhand’s voter list.

It will set up help camps at every polling station on August 22 and 23.

People who are already 18, or will turn 18 by October 1, can add their names using Form 6.

Booth-level officers will help them complete the form.

Families whose names are listed at different polling stations can use Form 8 to move them to one polling station if they live together.

The draft voter list was published on August 5.

It has 2.21 crore voters, compared with 2.64 crore before the checking exercise.

People can submit complaints or corrections until September 15.

The final updated voter list is expected on October 19.
