In a place called Andhra Pradesh in India, grown-ups use an official list to know where and when they can vote in elections.

The people in charge of elections want to make sure this list, called the voter roll, is correct.

So they are planning a special campaign to check the list.

The campaign will happen at every polling station on August 22, 23, 29 and 30.

Booth Level Officers and agents from political parties will be there to help citizens check their voter details.

The leader of this effort is Chief Electoral Officer Vivek Yadav, who spoke to district officials in a video conference.

He told them to handle questions and complaints about the list quickly and fairly.

He also asked them to encourage young people who just turned 18 or 19 to join the voter list.

Special camps will be held at schools and colleges for this.
