Team 18 Camaro to carry Peter Brock’s Energy Polarizer at Bathurst 1000

The Energy Polarizer is a small box containing crystals and magnets, developed by Peter Brock and chiropractor Eric Dowker in the 1980s.

Brock believed it could improve a car’s handling, performance and fuel efficiency, but those claims were not scientifically proven.

His insistence on using it led Holden to cut ties with him in 1987.

Team 18 is carrying the device as a tribute to Brock, a nine-time Bathurst race winner.
