Denny Indrayana doubts lawmakers will seek Gibran’s impeachment

Denny Indrayana wants lawmakers to consider impeaching Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka.

But he doubts parliament will act, partly because it is in recess and the governing coalition holds many seats.

The Constitutional Court rejected the petition, saying the applicants had no legal standing and that it could not remove Gibran.

Indrayana’s group plans to meet political parties and officials to seek support.
