Purple Pilgrims share new single “Outside” ahead of album release
New Zealand duo Purple Pilgrims have shared “Outside,” a new dream-pop ballad.
The Nixon sisters describe the song as an ode to outsiders and to finding a space of one’s own.
They connect that feeling to walking through the world with headphones on, both part of it and apart from it.
The song also touches on beginnings, change and the possibility of moving beyond ordinary limits.
“Outside” is the second preview of Given To The Night, after the album’s lead single, “Innocence Lost.”
