Shakira Ends 13-Show Madrid Residency With Star Guests
Colombian singer Shakira ended her Madrid residency on Oct.
12 with its 13th concert.
The series began as eight shows and grew to 13, drawing around 700,000 people to Macondo Park, according to Shakira.
Maluma, Laura Pausini, Beéle, Dani Martín and Bizarrap joined her for the finale, which also featured dancers from the Carnival of Barranquilla and a drone display.
The concert came during Spain’s National Day celebrations, with Latin culture prominent in the event.
Shakira called the residency historic and thanked the audience and the people who helped create the show and the themed area around the stadium.
She said more than 10,000 people worked on the production.
