Dionne Warwick cancels Carnegie Hall benefit appearance because of leg and foot pain

Dionne Warwick canceled her planned appearance at a Sunday benefit concert at Carnegie Hall in New York City.

The 85-year-old singer said pain in her leg and foot meant she could not stand or walk.

She apologized to supporters and said she was focusing on rest and recovery.

Warwick had emergency leg surgery in 2025 after experiencing severe pain.

Cabaret singer Marilyn Maye took her place at the event, which also featured Jon Secada, Mikaela Secada and Stella Cole.

The benefit raised money for ALS research, and its organizers said all ticket proceeds would go to that cause.

Warwick did not say when she expects to perform again.
