Kolkata Blue Line Services Suspended for Sunday Maintenance
Kolkata Metro will do maintenance work on part of the Blue Line.
Trains will not run between Shahid Khudiram and Mahanayak Uttam Kumar from 9am to 6:30pm on Sunday, September 13.
Workers will also block train traffic and power between Gitanjali and Kavi Nazrul stations.
Trains will still run between Dakshineswar and Mahanayak Uttam Kumar.
The whole Blue Line will return to normal after 6:30pm.
The Purple, Orange and Green lines will not be affected.
Metro officials have asked passengers to plan their trips.
The notice concerns only the stated maintenance period.
Blue Line services will be suspended between Shahid Khudiram and Mahanayak Uttam Kumar from 9am to 6:30pm on Sunday, September 13.
A Traffic and Power Block will be imposed between Gitanjali and Kavi Nazrul stations during the maintenance period.
Normal services will continue between Dakshineswar and Mahanayak Uttam Kumar stations.
Full Blue Line services from Dakshineswar to Shahid Khudiram will resume after 6:30pm.
Purple, Orange and Green line services will operate normally.
