Delhi Adds 200 E-Buses, Launches Karnal Service, Women’s Routes
Delhi is planning to add 200 buses that run on electricity.

Delhi will add 200 zero-emission electric buses, bringing its electric fleet to 4,938 and overall fleet to about 6,800.
Five fully electric, air-conditioned buses will begin operating between Delhi’s Kashmiri Gate ISBT and Karnal.
The Delhi–Karnal service will make 10 trips in each direction along the approximately 133-km route.
DTC will introduce 56 women-only electric services, including routes for working women, students and university commuters.
A four-charger, 240-kW-per-charger EV station has been established at DTC’s Rajghat Depot-I at a cost of about Rs 5.5 crore.
