Nashik to Launch 28 Air-Conditioned Electric Buses September 1
Nashik is getting new electric buses for its city bus service.
The first 21 buses have already arrived.
Seven more are expected soon.
People should be able to ride 28 of these buses starting September 1.
The buses have air conditioning and will be orange.
They will join the Citylink fleet.
The buses are being introduced before the Simhastha Kumbh Mela, when more people may need transport.

The first 21 air-conditioned electric buses approved for Nashik have arrived under the Central Government’s PM e-Bus scheme.
Seven additional buses are expected next week, bringing the number ready for service to 28 by September 1.
The buses will operate as part of the Nashik Mahanagar Parivahan Mahamandal’s Citylink fleet.
Service was delayed by a pending agreement with operator JBM Ecolife Mobility Private Limited, despite completion of the Adgaon depot.
The electric buses are expected to expand transport capacity ahead of the Simhastha Kumbh Mela while reducing emissions, pollution and diesel costs.
