Basti Molasses Export Boosts Uttar Pradesh’s Global Agricultural Reach

Molasses is a product made from sugarcane.

The export involved 25,000 quintals and earned nearly USD 5 lakh.

This money is counted separately from the state’s regular excise export totals.

Uttar Pradesh also reported strong growth in its overall excise exports.

The state wants to produce more goods and sell them abroad.

Exporting requires workers and businesses for processing, packing, storage, and transportation.

Officials say this can connect farms, factories, and overseas buyers more closely.
