Uttar Pradesh is sending more excise products to other countries.

Its exports grew much faster than India’s overall exports during April to June 2026.

The state’s export earnings rose to about US$12.78 million.

This made Uttar Pradesh the country’s third-largest excise exporter, after Maharashtra and Punjab.

The state also exported 25,000 quintals of molasses from Basti.

More factories are being built, reopened or expanded in several districts.

Businesses that make bottles, packaging and provide storage and transport are also benefiting.
