IIT JAM 2027 Exam Date and Registration Schedule Announced
JAM is a big exam in India that helps students get into master's degree programs at the Indian Institutes of Technology.
The Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur is in charge of organizing the JAM exam in 2027.
The exam will take place on February 14, 2027.
Students can start signing up online on September 5, 2026.
The last day to sign up is October 12, 2026.
The exam has seven subjects, including Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biotechnology.
It happens in two parts on the same day — one in the morning and one in the afternoon.
Results will be announced on March 18, 2027.

This year, the exam will only be held in India, with no test centers outside the country.

The exam is scheduled for February 14, 2027, in two sessions: 9.30 AM-12.30 PM and 2.30 PM-5.30 PM.
Online registration opens on September 5, 2026, and closes on October 12, 2026, through the JAM Online Application Processing System (JOAPS).
The information brochure will be released on August 22, 2026, and results are scheduled for March 18, 2027, with JOAPS data correction tentatively opening on November 10, 2026.
IIT JAM 2027 will feature seven test papers, 89 postgraduate programmes across the 23 IITs for 2027-28, and no international examination centres this year.
