GATE 2027 Registration Postponed: IIT Madras Releases Revised Schedule
GATE is a big engineering exam held every year for students in India.
This year, the exam is called GATE 2027.
The institute in charge, IIT Madras, has changed the registration schedule.
Registration was supposed to start on August 14, but it will now start on August 27, 2026.
Students can register normally until September 27, 2026.
Students who miss that date can still register by paying a late fee until October 5, 2026.
To register, each student needs a verified DigiLocker account.
The exam will happen over three weekends in February 2027.
Students will find out their exam city on January 4, 2027, and results will be announced on March 19, 2027.
