Orange alert for heavy rain in three Himachal districts
The weather office in India said it may rain very heavily in some parts of a state called Himachal Pradesh.
They put out a special warning called an 'orange alert'.
An orange alert means severe weather is coming and it could disturb travel and power supplies.
The warning is for the districts of Kangra, Sirmaur and Mandi.
Heavy rain has already caused many problems in the state.
As of Sunday evening, 118 roads were closed because of the rain.
Since the rainy season began on June 30, at least 68 people have lost their lives in rain-related accidents.
The state also suffered losses of about Rs 835 crore.
Some places got a lot of rain, like Paonta Sahib, which recorded 38.2 mm.
The rain is expected to keep falling until August 15, so people are being told to stay careful.
The India Meteorological Department issued an 'orange alert' for heavy to very heavy rainfall in Kangra, Sirmaur and Mandi districts of Himachal Pradesh.
The alert covers Kangra and Sirmaur for Monday, and Kangra and Mandi for Tuesday.
As of Sunday evening, 118 roads across Himachal Pradesh were closed due to torrential rain, with the most closures in Mandi (44) and Kullu (39).
Since the monsoon onset on June 30, at least 68 people have died in rain-related incidents, 14 in landslides and one in a flash flood, with losses of Rs 835 crore.
