Burglars Steal ₹15 Lakh in Gold, Silver From Beed House
Burglars entered two houses in Limbaganesh early on Sunday.
One house belonged to Vilas Buwaji Jadhav.
The thieves reportedly took ₹3 lakh in cash, gold and silver jewellery from it.
The stolen items were worth about ₹15 lakh.
They also entered another house nearby.
From that house, they took around ₹3,000 to ₹4,000.
Villagers informed the Neknoor police after the break-ins were discovered.
Police collected fingerprints and other clues, and the investigation is still underway.
Unidentified burglars broke into two homes in Limbaganesh, Beed tehsil, around 1.30am on Sunday.
Vilas Buwaji Jadhav’s house lost ₹3 lakh in cash, 15 tolas of gold and 20 tolas of silver ornaments.
The total loss from Jadhav’s residence was estimated at approximately ₹15 lakh.
A second house, belonging to Manoj Kanitkar’s grandmother, yielded about ₹3,000 to ₹4,000 in cash.
Neknoor police, a dog squad and forensic experts inspected the scenes as the investigation continued.
