Burglars Allegedly Steal Cash, Jewellery From Bhopal ACP’s Home
A police officer’s house in Bhopal was reportedly broken into while nobody was home.
The officer was working on VIP duty, and his wife was away for family work.
Police said the burglars broke the locks on the gates.
They allegedly took about Rs 10 lakh in cash.
They also reportedly stole gold jewellery, silver items and other valuables.
The CCTV recorder was taken after its wires were cut.
This may have stopped the burglars’ movements from being recorded inside the house.
Nearby cameras reportedly showed a suspicious white car and several people.
Police are now studying the footage to find the suspected burglars.
Traffic ACP Vijay Kumar Dubey’s locked house in Danish Kunj was allegedly burgled while he was on VIP duty.
Police said about Rs 10 lakh, ancestral gold jewellery, silver articles and other valuables were reported stolen.
The burglars allegedly broke the locks and removed the CCTV DVR after cutting its wires.
Nearby footage reportedly showed a suspicious white car and several people near the house around 10:30 pm.
Kolar police are examining CCTV footage and tracking suspected people and vehicles to identify those involved.
