Railway Board Approves Daily Pune-Beed Express, Nine Stoppages
India’s Railway Board has approved two new daily train services.
One train will connect Pune and Beed.
The other will run between Pratapnagar and Tanda Road.
Both trains will stop at several stations along their routes.
Nine trains that already operate will also receive new stops.
These changes are intended to give passengers more travel choices.
They will improve access to several destinations.
The railway zones will later announce when the changes begin.
The Railway Board approved the daily Pune-Beed Express and Pratapnagar-Tanda Road MEMU.
The Pune-Beed Express will run overnight between Pune and Beed with stops at seven stations.
The Pratapnagar-Tanda Road MEMU will serve multiple stations across its route as a daily service.
Nine existing trains will receive additional stoppages at locations including Pratapgarh, Sambhar Lake and Ghatshila.
Railway zones will separately announce the start dates and implementation details.
