TTD Praises Vegetable Donors Sustaining Srivari Annaprasadam Programme

TTD provides free food called Srivari Annaprasadam.

The programme needs many vegetables every day.

Vegetable use has grown from about 5.34 tonnes to 8.44 tonnes daily in three years.

More than four lakh portions are served on an average day.

Around 30 donors from several states have supplied vegetables for 25 to 30 years.

TTD thanked these donors for maintaining quality and arranging proper packing and transport.

TTD uses cold storage for vegetables that last longer.

It plans to create a donor policy and an online system to quickly share its needs.
